In-Game[edit | edit source]

Mishurenko starts out as a general for the Siberian Black Army. He is one of the most senior members of the Siberian Security Council, ostensibly ensuring the defense of the Free Territory, but in reality caring little for ideology—anarchist or otherwise—his main goal being to unite Russia and get revenge on Germany. Extremely ruthless in his methods, Mishurenko employs brutal training regimes and has no problem with disregarding the power structure of the Free Territory. Going so far as relieve elected officers of their duty via his influence alone, despite having no formal authority to do so.

Collapse of the Holy Russian Empire[edit | edit source]

When the Holy Russian Empire collapses following Sergey Taboritsky's death, Mishurenko rises up as the leader of the Bratsk Communal Vanguard; consisting of the remnants of the Black Army. There, Mishurenko espouses an ultra-individualist interpretation of anarchism: absolute freedom for his men and himself, the freedom to drink, steal and kill as they please. The soldiers of the Vanguard operate as de facto bandits, stealing from the populace at will and even killing civilians who resist them.

In direct opposition to the rump Siberian Black Army, now led by Yevgeniya Taratuta, Mishurenko vies with her for the vestiges of their population: the remaining soldiers largely siding with Mishurenko and the populace with Taratuta. The conflict is drawn to a close with Bratsk declaring war against the Siberian Black Army—the declaration largely consisting of insults directed at Taratuta, which Mishurenko approves as "perfect."
