In-Game Description

Ciudad Obregón, a relatively new city located in the southern reaches of Sonora, was officially established in 1906. It was established as part of the Sonoran railway moving south that connected the United States with the rest of Mexico. As the city grew with the years passing by it was one of the first captured by the Revolution, by the army of Obregón and Carranza no less. Its economy boomed with the automobile industry in the 1920's, and it was renamed to honor General Álvaro Obregón. From what started as being a glorified train stop, it now possesses the title of the second largest city in the state of Sonora. Despite the desert terrain Ciudad Obregón finds itself in, it has continued to grow massively, with its proximity to a valley making it a hub of countless agricultural experiments. With the many experiments occurring, it has been said a 'Green Revolution' is happening in the area.
