French Algeria

Overview

French Algeria is the last holding of the French Empire in mainland Africa. While it De jure controls the entirety of Algeria, it De facto only controls the city of Algiers.

History

In 1830, France invaded Algeria and was able to control it, but World War II broke out in 1939 and France became a puppet of Nazi Germany. The situation remained like this until 1950, when Italian and Iberian forces invaded French Algeria, which led to the division of Algeria into 3 regions.
