In-Game Description

For centuries, Qiqihar stood as the heart and soul of Northern Manchuria, defending the vital passages and ruling over the lands. It was the melting pot of civilization for the region, where the royal bloodline of Empress Wanrong of Manchuria, the Gobulo family, had its roots. When the Mukden Incident unleashed the Kwantung Army's fury on Liaoning and Jilin, they also conspired to devour Heilongjiang. But here, General Ma Zhanshan rose up to lead the Jiangqiao Campaign, the first spark of the Chinese army's organized and heroic resistance to invasion. Though it became a failure in the end, the battles ignited the spirits of countless people, old and young, who realized that China was not doomed - and that they would fight on, towards the flickering light of hope. Qiqihar survives, but not as it once was - in its eastern suburbs, a terrible secret lurks. And the Nen River, bearing witness to its darkness, becomes more and more stained with each passing day.
