* If the Siberian Black Army decides to develop a nuclear arsenal through the expertise of the communes and not scientists, they can trigger one of the only on-map nuclear detonations in the game, when transportation of one of the bombs goes wrong.

* The image in the Russian Unification event for both paths is a slightly edited picture of the Wehrmacht's 1st Cossack Cavalry Division.
