Constitutional-Democratic Party is a liberal party created during the early 20th century in Russia. It was revived by Roman Gul later in late 1950s.

Creation[edit | edit source]

K-D was created by Russian intellectuals, professionals, veterans of zemstvo and many more from the Russian bourgeoisie. They supported many liberal ideas such as universal suffrage, freedom of expression and press, 8-hour day and many more. After the establishment of USSR, the party was banned and started publishing newspaper abroad while in exile until World War II.

Revival[edit | edit source]

After the formation of Principality of Vyatka, Roman Gul, a Russian writer known for his critics towards the conservative White Movement revived the K-D Party now with its headquarters located in Vyatka.
