Franco-Burgundian War

The Franco-Burgundian War is a conflict that breaks out between the French State and the SS Order-State of Burgundy in November of 1963 as a result of the start of the German Civil War and subsequent collapse of German hegemony in Europe.

Background

SS Rebellion and Formation of the Ordenstaat

In the 1950s, during the West Russian War and the simultaneous period of German stagnation, Heinrich Himmler and the Schutzstaffel (SS)would attempt to coup the German government.

Following the defeat of the attempted coup, Hitler, despite wanting to arrest Himmler for treason, would still allow Himmler the creation of his own SS-led state in Belgium and Northern France to prevent mass civil unrest and a potential civil war from occurring.

Start of the War

In Germany, a civil war would break out as a result of Hitler's death and the following power vacuum and struggle.

This would allow Burgundy, completely unrestrained by the now nonexistent German protection of France, to launch an invasion into France in late 1963, immediately bringing an end to the French demilitarised zone along the border with the Ordenstaat.
