Karl Chmelewski (born on the 16th of July 1903, Frankfurt, German Empire) is a former SS officer, concentration camp commandant of Gusen and Herzogenbusch, and potential leader of the Oberkommando Südafrika (South Africa High Command).

Trivia

In real life, he was known for his brutallity and cruelty in the Gusen concentration camp, and was known as Teufel von Gusen (Devil of Gusen). Later also known for the same reputation in Herzogenbusch.

The Devil of Gusen died on December 1, 1991 at 88 years old.

He can lead the Oberkommando if the Afrika-Schild achieves total victory against the OFN-backed Union of South Africa assisting the Afrikaner Volkstaat in the South African War, and when Hans Hüttig; Reichskommisar of Ostafrika successfully kills Wolfgang Schenck and unsucessfully Siegfried Müller annexing both of their Reichskommissartiats territory and proclaiming the Großafrikanischer Reichstaat. After the Volkstaat splits from the Reichstaat, Chmielewski will attempt to bring South Africa back under Hüttig's reign. If the Oberkommando wins the Second South African War, they will inevitably collapse when Hüttig's empire does, with Chmielewski being assassinated by Wilhelm Dommes, leading to yet another balkanization in South Africa ensuring that the country is dead from another attempt of unification.
