Komi Left

The Communist Party of Komi (Russian: Коммунистическая партия Коми, Kommunisticheskaya partiya Komi), simply known as the Komi Left, is a political party in Komi. A former branch of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks), it is the main left-wing opposition to the ruling People's Democratic Socialist Party. When a member of the Komi Left takes power, Komi will be referred to as the Komi Soviet Republic.

Factions

There are three potential leaders of the Komi Left:

• Mikhail Suslov is the leader of the Komi Left. He wants to recreate an orthodox Bolshevist state in Russia free from ideological corruption, with the Party being the supreme authority. To accomplish his goals, he utilizes manipulation in Komi politics to maintain his supremacy over the Communist Party and lessen the influence of his enemies, similiarly to Lev Gumilyov.

• Svetlana Bukharina is the daughter of Nikolai Bukharin, who adheres to Left Communism, believing that regional Soviets should have power. She disappeared shortly after Bukharin's death, but later reemerged in Komi.

• Andrei Zhdanov is the chief ideologue of Ultravisionary Socialism, which fuses ideology and science to further the goals of socialist ideology. His ultimate goal is to explore space and greatly advance Russia's technological capabilities.

If Suslov or Bukharina takes power and reunifies Russia, they'll reform the VKP (b) under the new name Communist Party of the Soviet Union (Russian: Коммунистическая партия Советского Союза. Kommunisticheskaya partiya Sovetskogo Soyuza).

Under Zhdanov, the party is re-christened Reformed Communist Party of the Soviet Union (Ultravisionaries) (Russian: Реформированная Коммунистическая партия Советского Союза (Дальновидная), Reformirovannaya Kommunisticheskaya partiya Sovetskogo Soyuza (Dal'novidnaya)), befitting its new direction towards Ultravisionary Socialism.

If Komi's liberal democracy survives, the KPK will continue to participate in electoral politics under the name Communist Party of the Russian Republic (Russian: Коммунистическая партия Российской Республики, Kommunisticheskaya partiya Rossiyskoy Respubliki).
