The Omani Civil War is a proxy conflict that breaks out when Arab nationalists revolting in the North of the Kingdom of Yemen, which is just a series of proxy wars in the Middle East that eventually trigger the Oil Crisis.

The Civil War is fought between 3 sides, the Sultanate of Muscat and Oman led by the Semi-Constitutional Monarch Qaboos bin Said, the Inmate of Oman led by Theocrat Ghalib al-Hinai rebelling in the Northwest, and the Dhofar Rebellion led by Arab Communist Layla Fakhro rebelling in the Southwest.
