Toolbox Theory - Unfinished Business

Toolbox Theory - Unfinished Business is the major update of TNO, as version 1.3 and it's following 5 patches for Bug Fixing.

Major Additions[edit | edit source]

Addition of the Hart Presidency, replacing Glenn's, with full content up to 1975
US mechanical overhaul, with new/expanded Congress, Election and Coalition mechanics
The beginnings of US lore overhaul, including new setups for the Republican-Democrat Coalition and the National Progressive Pact, as well as undoing the party switch
New or improved US 1972 presidents in the form of Schlafly, Romney and Kirkpatrick
New US South African War trees.
Replaced old South African War discontent mechanic with new Homefront Mechanic that spans most of the game
Slight rework of the OFN Mandates (changed the discontent system and fixed several bugs with it)

Added the Smuta mechanic for warlord expansion phase to all Russian unifier, removing expansion trees and, instead, placed new internally-oriented ones for WRRF, Komi, Vyatka, Aryan Brotherhood, Samara, Omsk, Sverdlovsk, Tyumen, Kemerovo, Irkutsk, Buryatia, Chita, Magadan and Amur, as well as adapted the existing trees of Novosibirsk, Siberian Black Army and Tomsk for the Smuta mechanic
Removed playable content for Men and PRC for the purpose of future reworks
Reworked the Gauntlet period for Omsk with an addition of the updated focus tree and a mechanic for it. Expanded the Yazov insurgency mechanic and West Russian interactions with it

Updated Moskowien's skeleton content with two news events before Hitler’s death and an updated, dynamic Dissolution after it
Added skeleton content for the French State, full playable content coming with Penelope's Web
New skeleton content for RK Ukraine, up to and including the Ukrainian Civil War
New skeleton content for Bulgaria
Rework and expansion of Serbia's skeleton content during and after the civil war, with a new faction and a total of six postwar leaders
Finland starting situation reworked, now starting as a democracy under President Juha Rihtniemi
Added skeleton content for Finland
Reworked Russian conflict with Finland, adding a Finnish Civil War between communists and the Republic, and the Murmansk People's Republic.

New skeleton content and reworked starting situation for Australia and New Zealand
New Vietnam starting situation and skeleton.
Further work on South American skeleton content, such as 70s Presidents for Brazil, reworked Peru skeleton, new Paraguay
Bolivia interactions, new Ecquador setup and more. Most of the Central American region now has skeletons.

Rework of the Indonesian War
New skeletons and proxy conflicts for Hispaniola, such as the Puerto Plata Invasion
New three-way proxy conflict in Colombia
The superpowers can now intervene in Central Asia Conference
Expanded content for the West Africa War, including a new West African Reconstruction, new mechanic for the Mano Campaign and new skeleton content for Free France's Reclamation of the mainland
New Guyana situation, the region is now split into multiple tags. The Guyanan War has been removed and JFK's assassination have been changed as consequence

The "TNO: Custom Country Paths" submod is integrated into the main TNO mod, with 385 gamerules and 1,429 options are added
Removed Atlantropa's map effects in their entirety from the mod.

Added Healthcare Quality social development category
New Assorted Laws category created for flavor laws, with several current policies moved into this category
New laws in the press rights, state religion, gender rights, and education, renamed some existing laws
The effects of policies are now calculated using a set min and max, making them easier to predict
New industrial regulations policy type as a merger of pollution and safety laws
Overhauled the immigration, forced labor, penal system, and security policy categories

Replaced Kliment Voroshilov with Alexander Yegorov as the WRRF's starting leader

St Pierre and Miquelon is now its own state with cores from Vichy and Free France while still starting with Canada
Completely overhauled victory points for the United States, Canada, and Cuba; lots of new VPs were added, and existing ones had their values reworked
Updated victory points for Mexico; several new ones were added, and existing ones had their values reworked

Reworked states and borders for Poland, Ostland, Ukraine, and Kaukasien
The system of hydroelectric dams along the Dnieper was now completed TNOTL, and 3 lakes have been added along the Dnieper for the reservoirs
The Netherlands now has accurate borders and polders
Reworked Serbian, Romanian, Slovakian, Croatian and Finnish states
Touchup on Italian border states
Reworked borders of Albania and Montenegro. Montenegro is now independent at game start
Reworked and added new cultures across Eastern Europe and the Balkans, including in Ostland, Poland, Ukraine, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, and Kaukasien
Shrunk Burgundy's borders, gave the Collapse tags new colors

Reworked Chinese states to match KMT administrative borders
Completely reworked Indonesian states and provinces as well as adding new cultures
New Anatolian cultures have been added; Turco-Georgian, Turco-Kurdish, Syrian Turkmen and Afrinite.
Reworked states and borders for Algeria
State and province rework for southern Africa

Added a new Arcade Mode easter egg for Uruguay
Minor changes to Nixon's tree
Added a heightmap to TNO
Added unique world news header
Added a mapmode for buildings
Added location endonym-exonym feature (WIP, experimental, not complete but functional)
