Alexander Yegorov was an esteemed Marshal of the Soviet Union who fought in the West Russian War of the 1950s.

Serving since the First World War, he rose through the ranks through the Russian Civil War, eventually becoming one of the first five Marshals of the Soviet Union.

He is the leader of the West Russian Revolutionary Front upon the start of the game before he gets replaced by either Georgy Zhukov or Mikhail Tukhachevsky.


In our timeline (OTL), Yegorov was arrested in 1938 and finally executed in 1939 during the Great Purges under Joseph Stalin. He was politically rehabilitated during the Khrushchev era.
