Hardline Republicans[edit | edit source]
Lead by Arizona senator Barry Goldwater, The Hardline Republicans believe in the ideas of small government and a freer market. Seen by most as the far-right of the party, Hardliners are strongly oppossed to the democrats, in constrast to only being slightly opposed in the case of Responsible Republicans.
Responsible Republicans[edit | edit source]
Lead by New York Governor Nelson Rockefeller, the Responsible Republican are advocates for a fair approach to governance. This mean Responsible Republican seeks to govern America in a centrist manner that does not change the status quo of the US.
