Nonpartisan League

The Nonpartisan League is a left-wing American political party founded in 1915. The party was founded to better represent the needs of small farmers in North Dakota. The Nonpartisan League would see early victory that allow them to establish several state-control corporation and would even succeed in winning the governorship in 1936. By 1956 after surviving a schism with it more conservative members, the Nonpartisan League found an ally in the newly formed Progressive Party.
