Communist Party USA, officially called the Communist Party of the United States of America, is an American Communist Party established in 1919 after a schism in the Socialist Party of America caused by debates over the Russian Revolution. In 1962, Communist Party USA is the predominate party in the American far-left and a member of the National Progressive Pact.
