Yugra, officially the Thief Territory of Yugra, is a Russian warlord state located in West Siberia. It borders Vorkuta and the Arctic Ocean to the north, the Free Aviators to the east, Sverdlovsk and Zlatoust to the south and the Order of St. George and the West Russian Revolutionary Front to the west.

Yugra itself is a criminal kingdom ruled by the Vory v Zakone criminal gang, led by Georgian robber Jaba Ioseliani. They are closely associated with Zlatoust, who provide them weapons in return for protection.

Yugra is not a unifier and has no content as of the The Ruin update.

History[edit | edit source]

Following the collapse of the Soviet Union a major riot broke out in the Vorkuta gulag as several criminal groups made an attempt escape. One of these groups was the Vory v Zakone gang, who were successful in their attempt - and unlike the prisoners who united with the guards to become the Ural League, the Vory v Zakone gang refused to break the thieves' code to work with the guards.

After their escape the Vory v Zakone gang made their way east to Yugorsk, and made the Yugra region their main base of operations, free from any kind of law enforcement.

Gameplay[edit | edit source]

Yugra starts with the following national spirits:

Name In-Game Description Effects
Luftwaffe Terror Bombing With depressing regularity, Luftwaffe bombers from the airfields of Reichskommissariat Moskowien fly over the warlord states of western Russia, bombing everything they can see and affecting nearly every aspect of Russian life as a result. The only salvation comes in the form of the Free Aviators, who strive to intercept them at every opportunity. If not for them, the situation in Russia would be far more dire. Self-Made Men Our governmental apparatus stands unique amongst the ruins of Russia, in that it is staffed mostly by the... entrepreneurs of the Old Motherland. While this may lead to us being seen as a nation of Thieves-in-Law, our leaders' unique career paths may prove useful, not just for negotiation, but for trade as well. Our methods may be crude, but they yield results; and that is all that matters. Daily Political Power Gain: +0.25
