Chile, officially the Republic of Chile (Spanish:República de Chile), is South American nation established in 1818. Chile is one of the region's poorest country having not fully recovered from the Great Depression. This lack of economic wealth have left the country's politics highly unstable with growing radicalization on both the Right and Left.
