The Reichkommissariat Ostland is the German colonial administration in the regions northeast of the Reich's core territories. It administers territory won by Germany during World War II, previously the Soviet SSRs of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Belarus.

History
Reichskommissariat Ostland was formed during the Second World War, consisting of territory from the Belarusian SSR and the countries of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. the region became host to relentless colonisation efforts and genocide, with entire cities renamed and depopulated. while resistance organisations sprang up, they were mostly contained.
